The flagstaff rental features two bedrooms and two full baths, jetted tub, 32 inch flat screen TV with cable, massive floor to ceiling stone fireplace, a euro kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, dishes), private entrance and patio.

The view of the peaks is stunning. The lake is tranquil. “In and around the lake, mountains come out of the sky and they stand there”.

Towering Ponderosa Pine’s surround the property as well as mature shimmering  Aspen Tree’s.  The combination of the movement of wind through the canopy and sun dappling the Aspen Tree leaves can have a mesmerizing effect appropriate for contemplation and meditation, according to TreesforLife.org.uk.

The property is Wildlife Central; it is not unusual to see depending on the season Deer, Red Tailed Squirrels, Gophers, Rabbits, Hooded Skunks Stellar’s Jays, Woodpeckers, Herons, Canadian Geese, and even the occasional Bald Eagle sighting.

Rates:
Fall Winter Spring:  October1 – May 31 $175/night, $1000/week
Summer season: June 1 – Sept 31. $200/night, $1200/week.
$75 cleaning fee. Fully refundable deposit: $200.

The Katchina Wilderness and Snowbowl are  20 minutes
Walnut Canyon is 20 minutes by car or take a day hike, the scenic Fischer Point overlook is only a 5k (3 mile ) hike from the property!

For Day Trips Sedona’s Redrocks are 30 miles south and the Grand Canyon is 75 miles to the north.
